Neckty
Is the product of ALOHALOHA, a company started about 7 years ago by the couple Tetsuji Hamasaki and Atsuko Nose to produce baby wear. They started Neckty last year. “It is for people who want a short and easy to use tie.” It doesn’t need tying, and has very original designs. Prices range from 2,600 yen to about 9,000 yen, which make them easy to purchase. There are no plans yet to sell them abroad or on the internet. At the moment they are only for sale at a few shops at Fukuoka, Kyoto and other locations.

Fish Born Chips
was started three years ago, and sales started in autumn 2012. The Tokyo based company sells hats, bags and accessories. Their designs are exceptionally unique and playful, and also well-made. “We only use leather,” says owner Yoshiteru Aikawa, who runs the company with his wife Yuka. What we liked was a bag featuring a design of zebras and hat bands that show a city skyline.

Sachiko
is a Japanese illustrator who creates images of young girls that are kawaii/kowaii, both cute and scary at the same time, occasionally with a soft erotic feel to it. “I try hard not to make it obscene,” says Sachiko. She now sells mostly at events.

Mantam
is the artist name of Japanese artist Akihiko Tamura. His works are a mixture of bizarre, antique and mythical fairy tales that he thinks up himself. Mantam inspired the owner of famed boutique Grimoire so much, that he asked him to design the interior of Grimoire Amadel. His works must be seen to be understood, so I won’t waste much time describing Mantam’s work, and instead show it.

MEEWEE DINKEE
has become one of our favorites since we first covered the brand earlier this year. This season the theme is uniforms. “I designed a high school uniform, waitress, maid, nightclub dancer, sailor uniform, and others,” explains designer TORICO.

CUCCU
is the brand of designer Takumi Sakata (31). “My main product is bags, but I also design earrings and bracelets,” explains Sakata. His bags feature bright color combinations and out of the ordinary silhouettes which immediately caught our eyes as we strolled the rooms exhibition. They have an Italian feel to them, but have a Japanese playfulness that soften your heart.

Qroco
is a brand of Osaka based IKEDA kohgei, which specializes in bags made of crocodile leather. It is basically a wholesaler, but started its own brand this season. Its stunning designs and colors pull your attention even from a long distance.

Blaze
Surprised us with some shoe designs that we hadn’t seen before. Especially the high heel shoes featuring a hiking shoe design an Vibram soles.
