misshaze: I am a female and I would wear a few of these pieces any day of the week!! Jackets are a must have.
Kjeld Duits: @Rosebud: I don’t see why you couldn’t like, or even wear, these clothes, even though you’re female. Women have been wearing pants for many decades now, and men are increasingly starting to wear skirts and dresses in Japan. The fashion gender lines of the past few hundred years are in motion again!
Rosebud: oh it’s so nicem SO SO great. i like the clothes so much though i’m a girl

Kjeld Duits: @Bonaparte: I totally agree. The black runway and room are good to make colorful or white pieces stand out, but black items drown in it. Many Japanese designers still have to learn how to best present their clothes on a runway. The lighting especially is often horrendous, and challenges even some experienced photographers beyond their capabilities.
Bonaparte: I really like the layering and detail work on a lot of the pieces, but I felt the overall effect of blackness in the show (at least in the pictures) washes out some of those great details. As interesting as a black runway in a black room looks, I don’t think it did the pieces any favors.
Lactose Intoler-Art: Love the look where the striped black dress shirt is layered underneath the other stuff. Really interesting. The last two looks are very great too..Really couture.
