Emi shot in Harajuku, while I shot two people at a handicraft market in Kyoto. As can be expected, this was very subdued fashion. But the details and colors were very attractive and matched the temple surroundings amazingly well. If it is true that Japanese dress for the time, place and occasion, these two women did a perfect job.

More mustard yellow—seems to be a popular color this Winter.
It is a long time since I saw this color on Japanese lips. The past ten years colors have been far more subdued. Wonder if we’ll see more of this.
