In the show, genki Utsugi put girls in monumentally fun platform shoes with wood heels and thick straps of different fabric. There were also tall lace-up boots for men and women that were undone and left folded over, revealing patterned furry lining.
There were plenty of prints and layers in checks of various gauges, big scarves, and big & puffy accessories.
She seemed to focus on big hoods this time with the giant-head silhouette appearing on a majority of the women’s and mens looks.
There were some obligatory antics at the end of the show involving the models and the designer genkily trying to figure out how to put together a giant Styrofoam puzzle of a heart.
Oh, and did I mention the genki? Utsugi Eri always annoyed me. Why is she and her collection so darned energetic all the time? Ah, I must just be a jaded fashionista with too much to see and do, and not enough time for my nap.
