Lolita is about dead in Japan. Lolita is more popular outside of Japan so lolita brands hold alot of events like this one in the blog post outside of Japan. I live in Japan and everytime I go into a lolita brand clothing shop in Japan I never see a single customer or looker ever. Don’t know how they manage to keep the shops open they might eventually be only an online shop since most of their sales are overseas. Most subcultures of fashion died in Japan now its mostly generic plain clothes everywhere.
