Rooms Fashion Exhibition, Tokyo, Japan

DARIO is a new brand by Japanese fashion giant H.P.FRANCE. The company’s Mika Sato, who is the executive producer of rooms, went to Taiwan in 2011 and discovered young Taiwanese designer Dario Hsieh, better known as DARIO who had just won a fashion award there. Last year the company attracted DARIO to create a new brand.

This season’s concept is STRANGELOVE — what is love? DARIO designed men’s, women’s and unisex clothing using mainly wool. The designs are a cross between Yohji Yamamoto and kawaii, which allows you to create an impact on the street without shouting for attention.
