French street photographer Aurelien Violet runs the street fashion blog CHIC IS THE NEW PUNK. He’s working on a book to publish his photographs, and wanted to show some of his recent work. The party was a collaboration with MAM AVANTGARDE, probably the coolest tights shop in Tokyo right now.

We ran into a lot of familiar faces, probably you recognize quite a few yourself. Right on top of the page is Bunka student, and emerging designer, YEJI.

The girl with mickey mouse tights shot is awesome. I like very much the background choise for this one. Despite the fact that her creation is mind-blowing, she definitely knows how to pose to make the shot somehow unusual :) And that in the end was brilliant captured :)
