Right in the center of Tokyo, Harajuku Fashion Walk‘s Kumamiki and others last Sunday rented club Milky Way for a fun filled Halloween Party for people in love with Harajuku fashion.
I met lots of people that we photographed on the streets the past few years. To my great surprise I knew probably about a quarter of the visitors. Again and again somebody would shout my name and ask do you remember me? Truly amazing how many Harajuku lovers ended up at this party. It was very much part of the Harajuku scene.
Harajuku fashion brands like SUPER LOVERS and HYPER CORE supported the event, which featured performances by J-rock bands Broken Doll, ADIZ and Full House.
HiMiKo, Mana (better known under the artist name machico), and Kurebayashi did live painting. You probably remember Kurebayashi from our Harajuku shoots. She has also appeared in KERA. DJs were ITARU, Emuoka, and Asacho. Pâtissière Kunika had prepared special Halloween cookies and a delicious chocolate cake.
