With the prime slot on the last day of Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo, Ohya had a lot of expectations to meet

However, a very brief and unspectacular collection left the assembled guests bewildered and ultimately disappointed.

Ohya’s usual complex and clever designs gave way to simple black zipped jackets, polos and tracksuit tops. The menswear highlight was a nice ensemble of fitted blue pants and an astroboy shirt.

The womenswear included nice linen dresses and a playful leaf designed frock. With a very urban collection Ohya failed to sparkle and it was an anticlimactic end to a discouraging fashion week.
