HISUI Autumn/Winter 2006 - Schoolgirl Glamour

In a prime slot on a miserable Tokyo evening Hiroko Ito’s Hisui label managed to perk up a drenched fashion week audience

Ito focused on an innocent-but-sexy schoolgirl look with school blazers with badges, a tartan air stewardess ensemble and plenty of black and white.

This was a real 80s inspired collection with attitude. Stripes and gingham checks along with subtle pieces in grey matched the camp soundtrack.

Cute soft tracksuits with quirky details and tartan blazers summed up this “class-swot” style and added some light-heartedness to the event.

If you secretly liked the high school geek then you will love this charming collection.
