YLANG YLANG - Cinematic Failure

YLANG YLANG’s Catherine Deneuve inspired collection didn’t do the French beauty any justice in a poor show for JFW.

Men’s white tuxedo jackets, suede coats and neck scarves looked elegant enough but nothing more.

The womenswear served up 70s wallpaper pattern pants and skirts in vulgar colours as well as pink evening frocks with hideous ribbons.

Prada-like hat/helmets lightened the mood but if I was Catherine Deneuve I would be feeling very aggrieved.
