@Lactose Intoler-Art: I am afraid that I don’t know…
@Raza: Those pants with that shirt looks off in my eyes, too. But that’s also exactly what makes Kazu’s look so unique. I love that LEGO necklace.

I actually really like mixed patterns right now! Does Dog also sell some of its own originally designed items? I guess I thought it was all used/vintage for some reason when I went.

@Lactose Intoler-Art: I think Dog doesn’t have its own brand, although perhaps there is a brand with the same name. Emi sometimes takes down the name of the shop instead of the brand, a very common practice in Japan actually. When I hear a name that I am not familiar with, I always have to ask the people I photograph several times if they perhaps mean the store where they bought the item. I have made it a habit to have people show me the actual labels on their clothing, but some items still slip through.

@Kjeld- Oh wow! That’s really interesting! I’ve noticed on some street style sites when a brand is mentioned, some people have mentioned the shop staffs name. (For example, it might say skirt-“The Virgin Mary, Ari-chan”). That’s funny!
Also…Not wanting to generalize really but have you heard of “electro-kei?” I saw someone interviewed, could have been a word they coined on their own, but I’ve seen some similarities between the style of this guy, wearers of “Candy” and “Wut Berlin.” Omoshiroi ne? haha
