Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

So cute! I especially like the sweater and striped stockings. Gothic Lolita is definitely my favorite style! :)

Thanks. I think Saori put together a well-coordinated outfit. She and her friend Yukari went to an h.Naoto fashion event, so probably paid extra attention to their looks.

I love all those layers (looks rather warm, tho… >_>) ! I’m glad that Gothic lolita is starting to change, as well. If the style stays the same too long, it stagnates.

@kagitsune: I think Gothic Lolita is very fluid. With so many designers and fans there are always different approaches and interpretations.
