i have a feeling not only the scarf is his mother’s haha..
but again, his shoes are very pretty and the design of his jacket is cool!!

@ojisanbaka: Hahaha. According to him, his scarf is actually his mother’s tablecloth, and his the pictures on his Jacket is Piccaso’s work. Very unique:)

@Marie: His mother’s tablecloth! That’s amazing background information. I wonder if she knows…

I really like this style actually..Its super interesting to me. I love the color scheme. I have seen some similar style on the streets of Tokyo, and sometimes they even wear skirts. Is there a name for this kind of style? I think the “BOY” shop staff dresses a little bit similar.

For street fashion inspired illustrations, check out my blog!! :)

@Lactose Intoler-Art: I haven’t yet heard of a name for this style. Maybe Marie has.

His pants remind me of the ones Japanese workmen wear.

@Theo: Yes, they do look a little like those, don’t they. I have been wanting to do a special on Japanese work pants for quite a while. Should really get to it!

“Woah!” was the first thing that came out of my mouth when I saw this. I love that he’s a One Piece nerd, too. xD

And yes, please do the work pants special! That’d be ace.

@kagitsune: WIll start looking for good examples on the street; I guess I will have to visit building sites this time!

I love the Japanese work pants (so a special on them would be awesome!), but I hate the pants above on Kasuke. It looks horrible to me. I love his glasses and bag though. =)

@gionbaby: Thanks for the thumbs up on the work pants. I am with you on the pants on Kasuke. It’s an interesting look, but not very flattering on him, I think. I like the idea of wearing Picasso on your back, though.

the “cubic boy”? an assumption on these “cut out” styles …

@Lactose Intoler-Art & Kjeld Duits: Thanks for the comments! Well, it’s actually called “men’s skirt(メンズスカート)” and “skirt danshi(スカート男子),” but these are not so popular names, I think. The latter describes those boys who wear skirts themselves. By the way, Lactose Intoler Art’s blog is so awesome that I never fail to check it out everyday!!! Are you a painter? It’s very interesting that you draw Japanse people while your painting is more like Western style!!

@kagitsune: Hahaha, yeah I was the same when I found him on the street! Just, “Whoa!” His style is very new and unique, isn’t it? I’ll try to find more oshare skirt boys next time!

@gionbaby & Kjeld: Thanks for the comment:) It’s true that the shape of his pants doesn’t go very well with his style… by the way, it’s very interesting that he wears Picasso work on his top.

@sandy: Cheers! I’m not sure so I have to make sure. It’s an interesting name but where did you hear it? Very cute name!

@Aisha: I took a look at your blog, but are you also taking pictures? Cool stuff! I had no hesitation to follow you!! What kind of shows do you usually attend?

I adore these pants. I’m a student of fashion who will be studying in Nagasaki next fall, first time to the site, and I am IMPRESSED! So many images, so much inspiration! Can’t wait for more!

Love that ‘look’ he’s giving the camera. I really don’t know what to make of his fashion statement except.. it’s eclectic. He is cute!
