Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Love her unconventional pose with the dropped jaw and outturned feet. She certainly wears her bold outfit with attitude. Good thing you got her to take off her hat to show off that beautiful hair!

@Jenessa: Yes, that came as a very welcome surprise. Who would have thought that such a great cut was hidden under that hat? I love the hat, but I love the hair even more!

She is sooo cool! If I had that awesome hair I’d never wear a hat xD

@Maria: Totally agree, but coming from Central America, you might feel a bit cold in Tokyo. ^_-
