JAPANESE STREETS POP UP STUDIO JUNE 2013
JAPANESE STREETS set up a Pop Up Studio in Harajuku at Design Festa Gallery during the last week of June.
We invited some 30 Harajuku street fashion icons to show us their 2013 summer looks.
Momo is the manager of the mould breaking tights shop AVANTGARDE,
located in the backstreets of Tokyo’s trendy Harajuku district.
JAPANESE STREETS asked Momo to show her 2013 summer look
and talk about her fashion roots, and her work with AVANTGARDE.

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.
