Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Love the pastel colours! She looks like she walked out of a Monet painting! I love everything except maybe the shoes (maybe wear red for pop or cream to neutralize?) I think it’s brilliant how her stockings are like a mosaic of the whole outfit colour scheme!

@Jay: I like your description of Mami having walked out of a Monet painting.
