Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Traditional chic. Amazing outfit, her sandals and socks look great together and match perfectly with the kimono. Not to mention the black/white concept with neon details. Great great great!

@Maria: Tsumire has an amazing sense of style that you can see grow day by day. Recently Tsumire was interviewed for 32SCENE, the blog for the Bunka Fashion College Stylist Course.

Does anyone know where to get a kimono like this? I think this one is pretty cool but I cannot find anyrhing similar online.

@Christi: I think it will actually be extremely difficult to find anything similar. I seriously wonder you can’t find it online. Perhaps at a temple market in Japan.
