Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Oh my, are we going to see a return of the Kogals? :)

@MissMolly, if this is a Kogal I hope to see more and more, because it is soooo cute!
Hey KD, her smile reminds me of Gon, am I going crazy? (^^U)

@MissMolly & Maria: Kotone-chan is wearing the uniform of a group of Bunka students in charge of backstage procedures during the Bunka Bunkasai Fashion Show. There are several groups of students in charge of the Bunkasai. They each think up their own uniform.

@Maria: Kotone-chan is a good friend of mine and I was also reminded of Gon, who is also a very good friend. I haven’t yet been able to get Gon and Kotone together, but I did tell them of each other. ^_-
