Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

@Mia: That’s what I said, too. But everybody that has them says it’s not so bad.

@Mia & @KD: I think very few people would pay a lot of money for hard-to-use shoes. Especially at Bunka, were you have to walk a lot. ^^U
Her face is so pretty~

do you think rocking horse shoes will continue to feature in 2013?

@Agnieszka: Do you mean the Jeffrey Campbell shoes above, real Rocking Horse Ballerina’s originated by Vivienne Westwood, or shoes inspired by the Ballerina’s (second in the linked list)? I think the Jeffrey Campbell shoes will probably still last a little bit longer, shoes inspired by the Ballerina’s might just become evergreens, while the original Ballerina’s will come and go in waves, I think. They have become classics.
