Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

So, so beautiful! I especially love the burgundy color of the dress! And is that a literal ‘book’ bag?!

@Mika: Yes, that bag is made too look like a book. Cool, eh!

Oooh, her hair is lovely! And cute shoes- but they’re a bit too big, aren’t they?

I love this look! The dress itself is a great color, and the accessories round the outfit out perfectly. The printed tights and necklaces are especially cute. Her bag is very unique! I’m such a fan of classic lolita styles, if that is what this is still called. ^^ /gush

@Alexandra: I thought exactly the same thing about the shoes!
@Amber: Yurie did an amazing job putting this look together, I thought. Glad you like it, too.

Mika, your smile is so beautiful. I can’t remember a woman that made me feel so good. I just wish the photos were larger so that I could have your smile as my wallpaper.
