Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

I love how she always looks a little bit punky, yet somehow elegant…

@Maria: I have started shooting with a longer lens. I really like using a wide lens because it shows what’s happening around the person that I shoot. But I love the bokeh (unfocused areas) you get from using long lenses. Glad you like the shots! ^^

I like her dark and thoug playful look. The metallic top is very chic and elegant, the tiger neklace and the teddy bear give the whole look a cheeky turn. Her boots are gorgeous, they look cool, comfy and elegant at the same time. The skirt is pnky. I also like her hair and the fake lashes. Maria, you are right, the shots are very beutiful. Congrats Kjeld.
