Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

That backpack is Jeremy Scott. Not very sure about the price, may be around $500-$800.
Very interesting lipstick color. I love her leggings * – *
I think there is some kind of hairstyle trend. Just a little bit of color at the front.

@Maria: “I think there is some kind of hairstyle trend. Just a little bit of color at the front.” — Yes, indeed. One of several hairstyle trends at the moment. Great observation. As usual!

Tehehehe, she looks so fun and nice and cool. I really like the T-Shirt and leggings style and I adore, that she wears a shirt with ‘‘The Jetsons’‘ print.

I`d like to add, that her lipstick is very fascinating. One one hand its a terrible color, at the other hand it suits her hair and her skin color very well. Its funny, that in the past weeks I see a lot of 90s style shoes on this blog. As I was in elementary/primary school the shoes, she is wearing were very popular.

@nora: Yes, I guess there are a lot of influences from the 90s. Lots of 90s clothes in Harajuku’s used clothing stores.

Definietly looks great! I always think that, these kind of printed black shirts are best with colourful pants. And I think she combined those well.
