Halluci Designer Hijiri Uchida was doing a small show of his Autumn Winter collection
at a gallery behind Bunka Fashion School, his alma mater.
It is very close to the JAPANESE STREETS office so I pass by there all the time.
I was curious and had a look.
I was really struck.
Halluci’s designs are actually thoroughly British Trad,
but thanks to stylist Takuma Watanabe and photographer Hiroya Takada,
these photos have a very strong street fashion feel to it.
“That’s Japanese fashion,” said Uchida, “we break the rules.”
So can you.
