Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

I love her skirt so fashionable :) and the beret is so adorable I agree with Maria it is Japanese meets French xD she’s really pretty and can carry this outfit off .

@Maria & Emma: Recently I have seen a few Japanese meets French looks. The French influence is very fifties, sometimes sixties. It looks real good on the people I have seen wearing it; it appears to accent their femininity.
