Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

I really admire his style. I think that & necklace is my favorite aspect of this whole coord, actually. It’s really eye catching and looks great up against the tye-dye shirt.

In Singapore our wearing style is more conservative, not creative. So I’m really admire his style as I agree with Mimi really eye catching.

Love the pattern so hippie <3~ !
I always love watching bright colors contrasting with black. If you know how to dress like that, then you know what you are doing.

@May: That says more about their tiny worlds than it says anything about your fashion sense. Although it is tough, don’t let other people intimidate you with their petty remarks. If you persevere, people eventually accept you as a truly are.

@May: Yes, it is difficult when you want to feel part of the group. I see myself as an outsider, so I don’t mind.

@May & KD: I prefer feeling out of the group; that way of thinking is the reason most of the time people tells me they love how I dress… I think you shouldn’t give up May, try to be different in an office way, just be cool inside the group, it is not impossible (n_n)

@Maria & May: Nice advice, try to be different in an office way. Be different, yet fit in at the same time.
