Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

I’ve never seen pants like those before, but they’re really cool.

I’ve seen these photos like 5 times! I don’t get bored.
I like it so much, the whole outfit. Including his hair and face.
I think he give like an original aura, like he emanates an unique style, I don’t know what makes him so cool!

@Emma & Maria: Thanks. Really glad you like them so much. Mamoru will be extremely happy. He was actually rather shy and embarrassed when I took his photographs. You can notice that in the smile on the second photograph.
