Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Those scarves are becoming a trend in Harajuku, aren’t they? I love the style! Her outfit seems so complete with the brown and cream colors and floral prints. Really cute.

I really like this hat. I’ve noticed some hats that are a bit antique looking, but the tops are much higher…Adds kind of a new avant-garde twist. I think the Tokyo Bopper staff wear stuff like that sometimes.
