Since I first photographed Anzu in March 2010 and again in August 2010, she has become my occasional assistant
I don’t think I know anyone who is as cheerful and full of live as Anzu, and it shows in her clothes

Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Wow her style is so bold! I love the mix of colors, and her coat is very unique! I have never seen anything like it ;) Very unique and cool style.

She’s like a chic walking circus, I love it!

@Keekii: Yes, Anzu is definitely unique. Since I first photographed her last year March she has become my occasional assistant and she looks different every time I meet her!

@Abby: I love your description. I will tell Anzu. She has no internet access at the moment because she just moved. I know she will laugh heartily about it.

Very interesting. She is the epitome of being unique, yet not trying to really copy trends or a certain tribe. If someone wants truly unique mixed fashion, this is it. I’m interested about the brand of the coat..Like Keekii said, its very different.

@Lactose Intoler-Art: Unfortunately, Anzu herself doesn’t know. No label in the coat anymore, I believe…

She really is cheerful and live! This outfit sort of reminds me of the mad-hatter (most likely because of that awesome top hat). Also, her hair is beautiful…

@Kjeld: She seems like a fun person to be around, so I bet she does! I know she’d improve my mood! As opposed to gloomy people, whom I can’t stand…there’s always something about hanging around them that can put you in a bad mood for the day…
