Hi Mel. You have every reason to be upset. My apologies. m(_ _)m —> (Deep Japanese bow)
In a few weeks I can hopefully explain what happened. More images coming soon!

Hope you’re doing well, Kjeld-san! We’ve not been able to cope without your heavy doses of J-street fashion ;D

Wow! This girl is exotic looking… and she just absolutely radiates COOL! And is it just me, or am i noticing a pattern with this style of glasses? I saw it for a while here in the US too, which is what, to me, makes it awesome! Its sort of like a global trend =). I * love * the combination of cheetah print and red! Its one of my favorite color schemes and something that I have done before too!
Another reason that I am a big fan of this outfit as a whole is because it is something that I would for a fact wear! Ever since I started coming on this site frequently, the fashion i see here has GREATLY influenced me. I know I’ve said it before, but seriously. I feel like seeing people like her has made me feel more free and more creative about the things that I can throw together….

@Floof: Thanks for caring!
@Etsune: You are right about the glasses. Stores here have been carrying lots of glasses in this style for at least a year now, probably longer.

I just glossed RIGHT over the glasses, I guess because I’ve been seeing so many like them that I’m starting to expect/overlook it. I LOVE those pants. Pondering trying to rock some like that with one of my longer sweaters or jackets. I do NOT have the kind of tush-confidence this lady has. I love her confidence and comfort – that’s what takes this from just a cute outfit to a showcase of true style.

@Leah B.: Animal print pants quickly get really tacky, I’m amazed that Chitose has managed to pull this look off.

One of my favorite things about this is the cross that you can just barely see…the gold looks really good with the rest of the outfit.

@Mel: Because I don’t have all the information, yet. Will keep you posted.
@Abby: I actually missed the crucifix completely. Thanks for making me aware of it. ^^

@Kjeld: Lol its BASICALLY the same over here in America. And also, what a lot of people will do is get the 3-d glasses in movie theaters, take them home when they’re done with the movie, punch out the lenses, and you get glasses like these :D
@Abby: Wow, I’m in the same boat with Kjeld here…I COMPLETELY missed that cross…Nice observation c:

@Abby & Etsune: Good to know that I am not the only one. ^ _ – @Etsune: 3-d glasses as a fashion accessory. Funny. I don’t think I have seen that yet.

お久しぶり!It’s been a while the last time I commented here. I have been busy with moving to Japan. I’ve been here for around a month now and it feels like I never left. (^^) I’m in Miyagi-ken now, but I’ll let you know if I go to Tokyo, Kjeld. I hope we will be able to meet for that drink! ;)
Don’t get me wrong, I like Chitose’s outfit and all, but when I saw her photo, suddenly Garth from Wayne’s World appeared in front of my eyes. I really loved Wayne’s World, as a teenager!

@gionbaby: Hi there! A Happy Belated New Year! I was wondering how you were doing. Have you settled in Miyagi, or are you there just temporarily?
I can totally understand why Garth popped into your mind. Now that you have mentioned it, I will have trouble to get him out of my mind when I see Chitose…

I love leggings, but in this case, they are clearly on the larger size! These folds and wants to straighten out.

@Aleksandr: I have been wondering about that. Perhaps Chitose did this on purpose to avoid that sexy look it would create. Many young Japanese women purposely try to avoid suggestive clothing.

seriously?
Of course there are women, but I do not think they are doing it with clothes)
this anti-advertising? Or they do not like to be attractive?
Aleksandr

@Aleksandr: Ha, interesting that you automatically equate suggestive clothing with looking attractive. I think that many Japanese women (not all) would disagree. They don’t think suggestive clothing is attractive, just slutty.
