I love the leather jacket ♥.

@Pauli Rocker: I totally agree. I am usually not so much into black leather jackets, but this one is cool and absolutely perfect for this outfit.

I’m not comfortable wearing all black but I really like it on other people. This all looks great together, I love the shapes and the leather.

Fantastic images, especially the black leather jacket. At our image clinic at ManhattanMakeovers.com we would love to make a look like this work on the streets of New York for a serious businessperson. We’re working on it, but black leather has such negative connotations with many people.

Wow, this guy is shockingly alluring! There is just something ironically appealing about his unconcerned stance. I mean, the way he’s standing, its all standoffish like he doesn’t care about anything, and it really adds to his sort of “cool guy” look. I mean, he just looks so tough, cool, and intimidating in his all black, baggy clothes, especially with that black leather jacket. The phone and the pacifier on his bag are a complete shock, though, because of the colors (purple, pink, and turquoise? kinda contradicts the look.) Anyway, thank you guys for introducing me to my FUTURE HUSBAND. Haha, jk. I wish though.

by the way, i LOVE the shot of him holding his phone with his scarf covering half his face and his eyes averted. Very mysterious…

@Etsune: The phone and the pacifier on an otherwise austere black outfit once again show that you can never completely get away from kawaii (cute) in Japan. It is always present in some form.

Hey, glad to have introduced you to your future husband! That makes me your nakodo, the go-between in Japanese arranged marriages.

By the way, I also like the shot of his half-hidden face. So even though it doesn’t really show the phone well, I decided to use it anyway.

@Kjeld: I have to say, I agree with you. It makes sense, although that doesn’t make it any less surprising :D
Woot, I just learned a new japanese word today. Nakodo. Nakodo nakodo nakodo.
Hahahah, I’m sure this guy would absolutely love to hear that you are “planning” his wedding arrangements to a girl who is yet to fully learn the language :D Anywho, it kept me amused, so…..
I’m glad you used this shot of his phone even though it didn’t show it well. This shot is really just awesome…..

@Etsune: If I ever run into Aran, I will tell him he has a “wife” waiting for him in the US. LOL.

I can’t get enough of those sleeves. Probably my favourite part of the outfit. ;3

@Floof: I agree. It surprises me that you don’t see sleeves like this more often.

Love the jacket. Too bad there’s no data.
His piercings are awesome too, not very common.

@Kjeld: Hahaha, this conversation has made my day! I am thoroughly entertained right now :D
If you ever DO see him and remember to do that, you must tell me how he reacts.
And darn, I was going to ask if he seemed like he had a cool and unconcerned personality while taking the photos, but i realized you didn’t take them and that kusano-san took them, right?

@Kjeld: Hahaha! I hope that someday I run into him or a guy like him in Japan!!~
In fact, I had a dream last night that my family and I were in Japan and my mommy bought me tons and tons of clothes! It was great :D
@Leah: Ahhh, finally someone who agrees! I’ve showed him to a couple of my friends, and they don’t agree with my opinions of his attractiveness T^T

@Etsune: That is good, right? No competition! I like your dream, but feel sorry for your mother appearing in it as your wallet. ^_-

@Kjeld: Haha, yes! I honestly just think that guys like him and other people like this in Japan are so cool! I love how artistic they are in the way they dress….normally at my school, people dress so dull….so i feel like i belong better in japan since i’m crazy…. and i have learned katakana! i can even right my name! ( it is roughly ダイアナ ニャクンジ)
anyway….
yes, feel bad for my poor mum…but it was GREAT for me! :DD

@Etsune: There are lots of people who dress dull in Japan as well. But thankfully, there are also many people like the ones we shoot.

Kjeld Duits
Feb 10, 2011 (4675 days ago)

@Kjeld: I know EXACTLY what you mean…I’ve seen some of the fashions in japan that are considered typical, even for japan….i guess its just something you can not escape from anywhere…

Etsune
Feb 12, 2011 (4673 days ago)

@Etsune: True. Just as well. It is only because the majority dresses dull that some people are able to stand out. If everybody is original, it becomes dull, right?

Kjeld Duits
Feb 12, 2011 (4673 days ago)

@kjeld: That is very true. Some time ago, I read a very interesting book about an American girl living in New York during the late seventies that went to an arts school, and she pointed out that at the arts school, it was cool to be different, but since everyone was “different”, no one truly was…

I love that jacket, grr i need one. The sleeve length and the arrangement of zippers is awesome. Also, i love how he added that bag,it really stands out, i mean if its hard to notice a black outfit in a sea of fashion trends but that bag helps.Great outfit, he also reminds me of my friend nick, same hair, stance, clothing choice. Funny.
