Kjeld Duits: @Ms. Jody: It is called Michiyuki (道行).
Ms. Jody: Is there a name for the type of jacket she’s wearing? I’ve seen it called a “kimono jacket” on other sites, but when I Googled it, the results didn’t look anything like what she’s wearing.
Yoel: I love this elegant dress! The red dress and head piece work so well with the white lace stockings! :)

Ms. Jody: “Almost naughty” describes her grin well. I was originally going to use a word with similar meaning, but I’m concerned it may be a regionalism and could be misunderstood, so I decided against including the term altogether. Anyway, I was trying to say something along the lines of “playfully mischievous.”
Kjeld Duits: @Ms. Jody: Yes, Nile can have a really lovely, almost naughty, grin sometimes. Glad that I was able to capture it. This time, Nile was inspired by the look of Oiran, the high class courtesans of old Japan.
Ms. Jody: The traditional clothing – the colors, texture of the fabrics and how they drape – really suit her. Plus she has the cutest grin in the first photo. My compliments to both the model and photographer.

Deadly Bite: So in love with this look. It’s a fantastic twist on tradition :D
Andrea: Great combination Sari! Love the eyeball ring
Kjeld Duits: @Zjonni: What amazes me is that Sari looks totally different each time. There are times we don’t even recognize her! I don’t know how she manages to do that.

Kjeld Duits: @fullofstars: Yes, those are the kind of things you’d never know from just looking at photographs. I’m really glad I did these interviews.
fullofstars: I love her strawberry philosophy and that she likes things with “a tarnished beauty.” Very inspiring!
Kjeld Duits: @Kat: Shioka changed into her outfit at our Pop Up Studio, and it took her quite some time to get ready. I was deeply impressed that she had prepared all of this at home in advance.

Kjeld Duits: @Christi: I think it will actually be extremely difficult to find anything similar. I seriously wonder you can’t find it online. Perhaps at a temple market in Japan.
Christi: Does anyone know where to get a kimono like this? I think this one is pretty cool but I cannot find anyrhing similar online.
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: Tsumire has an amazing sense of style that you can see grow day by day. Recently Tsumire was interviewed for 32SCENE, the blog for the Bunka Fashion College Stylist Course.
