MaliceInWonderland: Martin, I like the Elfen Lied or ghost idea. Cute thought. Kjeld Duits-san, Thank you. _
Martin: She looks like one of those dangerous girls from Elfen Lied, or like a Japanese ghost who dyed her hair because wants to be trendy ___ Like her look though.
Kjeld Duits: @MaliceInWonderland: Yes, once again, great attention to detail.

Kjeld Duits: @Nyurah: I run into an increasing number of people in Japan that do the same. Actually, recently I’ve been amazed how many people have begun cutting their own hair. @Nora: Those accessories were even cuter in real. Some things are difficult to show in photos. ^_-
nora: Cute and pretty. It looks comfy for warm days too. I like the transparent fairy kei jewellery.
Nyurah: @Maria: In my country it’s the opposite, the prices are very high, but you still can’t find any good hairdressers.. so for a few years I’ve been cutting my hair by myself. so if it doesn’t turn out perfectly, at least I didn’t pay anything..^^

Nyurah: Every tale disney turned into an animation is tuned down, the original stories are always a looooot scarier. And often without a happy ending.. I love her strawberry bag.
Kjeld Duits: @MaliceInWonderland: Here’s some excellent background information: Fairy tales have ancient origin (The Telegraph), Grimm and the Origin of Fairy Tales (alterna-TV.com)
MaliceInWonderland: Or a lot of them were meant for kids, but as cautionary tales and ways of keeping them in check and surviving. If they didn’t go out after dark, they wouldn’t be attacked by animals, if they didn’t talk to strangers, they were safer, etc. In many of the tales, they ended badly as lessons of “that’s what happens to children who misbehave”. When times were a lot more dangerous, it was often safer to scare the children in a safe manner like a story rather than having actual harm occur.
