Kjeld Duits: @Maria: I think it’s too safe and commercial… — I agree. KAMISHIMA CHINAMI is kind of a conservative brand that stays on the safe side of the line, but they do make beautiful things. ^_-
Maria: I like those huge brush patterns n_n The collection is very modern and western. I think it’s too safe and commercial…I do like it, but I wish it had more japanese stunning creativity ^^U

Maria: @KD: Well, anything can be risky if you do not create something with a fresh twist. I think Horie’s design are a modern gothic, it even makes me think a little bit of Alexander Wang. ^^
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: I had just not expected that someone would use Gothic for a graduation project for Bunka. It seems a bit risky somehow. @London & Paris: Yes, it was a fun show!
London & Paris : Wow, this show looked so amazing! The students there are very talented! xxx

Maria: @KD: You are right. I still don’t know how to describe it, so I’ll stay with intriguing. ^^ I can’t wait to see how people wear those awesome leggins :D
Kjeld Duits: @Maria: Daphne and I are also in contact, so I will definitely keep my eyes on her work. I really love her creations. Kawasaki’s work is intriguing. The skirt in the top photo of his collection is super cool. I’d love to see that on the street.
Maria: Since Daphne Mohajer-Va-Pesara is friends with Gon, maybe it will be easier for you to know what her next projects are. It would be great to keep an eye on her works, even though she is not Japanese. ^^ Kawasaki is my favorite, it’s like he knew how those designs were going to look on the runway even before making them.
