Kjeld Duits: @Marie: I saw some of Sierra’s artwork several years ago before she started with yakimono. It was really cool, so her Tokyo yakimono show should be extremely interesting.
Sierra: Oh darn! She has a unique kimono so I thought maybe she belongs to an art school hehe, i was curious :p Oh yes, I’m learning yakimono now :) Hopefully next year I’ll have a show in Tokyo, when I do please come :D
Marie Sasago: @Tofu: She has a great traditional Japanese style, doesn’t she? :) By the way, your blog is very classic! @Sierra: I’m afraid we didn’t talk about her school. I checked out your website but are you interested in authentic Japanese culture? I enjoyed your articles, Sierra!

Marie Sasago: @Tofu: So do I! It really makes her cute and feminane. @: Kjeld and ojisanbaka, Arc: She somehow reminds me of The Powerpuff Girls. I think Arc’s analysis is right:) The vivid colours of her clothes are one of the anime elements, I’m guessing. Kawaii!
Kjeld Duits: @Arc: I thinks so, too. Especially the eyes. Also perhaps the way she keeps her head slightly tilted, and the way she stands with the inverted feet?
Arc: I wonder if it’s her eyes, hair, or the way her coat sags a bit so you can’t see her hands that make her seem anime-ish. I didn’t really see the connection but tried to look for it after you guys mentioned it.

Marie Sasago: @nanaa: I don’t know if this is only a case about Japanese girls, but we tend to love little teddy bears:) Very cute!! @ojisanbaka: Me, too! I often see brown ones like Karen’s but I want black ones so bad after reading your comment +P
ojisanbaka: i like her shoes.. im looking for such, in black! fringes rule!
Kjeld Duits: @nanaa: Those are among the most enjoyable things to shoot, nanaa. These days I even carry a special lens in order to get more detail of the phone straps. I believe that Marie has just bought a new lens for this as well.

Kjeld Duits: @Lactose Intoler-Art: I think your wish may come through. I see more and more of glasses inspired by the 50s.
Lactose Intoler-Art: Thanks guys! I’m glad you like my artwork. :) Actually, glasses are a key element to my illustrations..They almost ALWAYS have on some cool pair of glasses or shades! Yea, I hope more of these big cat eye’d 50’s inspired glasses but with bigger lenses come into style! I like this look! Maybe “art school-kei?” haha
Juliana: Nice bag! Greetings from Brazil!

Kjeld Duits: @Arc: I am not sure. I love those photos, though.
Arc: I noticed she was featured on Ridsnap recently. She gave a different name (but I’m fairly sure it’s her as confirmed by the placement of her freckles XD) She went for a completely different style here but she still looks great.
Kjeld Duits: @CROATOR.NET: Saw Croatian street style for the first time after visiting your site. I noticed that were lots of Japanese influences in the images posted under fetish. Are those exceptions, or does Japan play that big a role?
