Tokyo Time Lapse

There is something unsettling about watching time lapse videos. Seeing time speeded up like this makes you realize how bound we are to the moment and how short our stay is on this beautiful globe. But they are also fascinating and beautiful to see. I could spend days watching only time lapse videos.

These ones of Tokyo by Frenchman Samuel Cockedey are truly gorgeous, a real delight to loose yourself in. And they show Tokyo in a way that few of us get to see.

The clips give suggestions for other time lapse videos of Tokyo after they finish. Do take the time to watch some (or all!) of them. I think you’ll find it rewarding. Let me know how they made you feel!

Recently, time lapse videos have become very popular on YouTube. I found quite a few nice ones of Tokyo.
