Following the huge success of the grand launch night, Criminal Records are back again with another monthly dose of HARAJUKU.
Themed on Tokyo’s street fashion mecca, their newest club residency is all for the love of Japan. Many of Friday’s part-goers will be dressed up as characters from Anime, Movie or Manga, others are dressed in Gothica or as Lolita. Anything goes in terms of style, just make it fun.
Music is provided by Fuzz Valentine, No Cars, GinKinta, DJ Daztronik, DJ Rophone & More Acts TBA. The bands play from 19:30 through 23:00, after which the DJs take over until 3:00.
Fuzz Valentine are a three piece indie band from London. They combine boyish wonder with skittish pop music and they rock. They have received airplay with the track Far from both Claire Sturgess and Alex Zane on London station Xfm.
Japanese Pop trio No Cars add a genuine Japanese touch to this Harajuku night. Playing indie pop and contagious songs, these girls—and one guy—are not to be missed.
The pomp rock stomp box troubadours of GinKinta have already been making waves on the London circuit. Expect well crafted rock and strong musicianship from this all female trio.
