Soe moved from their humble industrial style boutique space in Nakameguro to…. A humble industrial style boutique space in Nakameguro. This one has expanded its rack space however, and there are plenty of cool duds to see in this talented Japanese designer’s menswear.

While designer Soichiro Ito used to be known for his minimalistic approach to fashion, his recent collections are splashed with unapologetic colors such as cerulean blue and bright yellow among the crisp black, grey and beige pieces.
I really liked his circus-striped suits and his trench coats which had a very edgy militarism touch of big metallic hardware rings.

He also began his Soe Shirts line which is dress shirts designed for the man who likes a little bit of individualism no matter the occasion. Splattered paint prints and abstract collars adorn the shirts- I imagine a muse for Ito must be the impeccably suave Jefferson Hack, the founder of Dazed & Confused magazine who is often out-and-about in a jacket and fantastic button-up shirt.
