I Want to be Famous
JAPANESE STREETS ran into Tokusatsu actress Noah Kirishima at Nihon Street Festa Osaka on March 20. We uploaded some nice shots of her as Gashadokuro.
Tokusatsu actress Noah Kirishima plays the evil character in a video series called Akanex. The series is full of costumes that attract both otaku and cosplayers.
Kirishima’s costume conceals little and surprisingly this is making her increasingly popular among both male and female fans.
Kirishima, whose official age is 23, kind of fell into the role of the evil Gashadokuro. “I posted nude photographs of myself and my partner on a community board and was contacted by an AV production company,” she explains. AV production company is the Japanese monicker for companies that produce porn videos. Kirishima has made three of them so far.
Somehow, photographs of her found Jungle director Koji Shiota who scheduled an audition with her. “They choose me right away,” she laughs. She likes the job a lot. “It is a lot of fun to become a completely different person.”
Besides acting in tokusatsu and porn movies, Kirishima also works as an underwear model. Revealing her body and acting in porn movies doesn’t face her at all, she says. “I want to become famous and this is really the only kind of place for me to do that. Otherwise it is a career as an OL (office worker), marry, bear children and grow old.”
Yet at the same time she says that getting married is a woman’s way to happiness. “I want five children,” she explains with much conviction. She has also kept her new career from her parents. “I don’t want to worry them.”
