Japanese brand A.li.E was created by Eri Yoshida and Ami Yamashiro in 2012. They create romantic tights, imaginative detachable collars and gorgeous jewelry, basically wearable art. The brand’s name is a reference to a lie. “The real world is very unreal,” explains head designer Yoshida in this exclusive interview.

To recreate the mood of A.li.E’s creations, and to bring the brand’s vision to life, we worked with Japanese fashion model Chiaki Fuse (instagram | Facebook).

We are very grateful to KIEI TOKYO for arranging the interview with Eri Yoshida and Ami Yamashiro, and for making the clothes available used in this video.
