Furry Tails and Collars

People don’t have tails. But maybe they should have. They look pretty cool!

One trend that has really stood out over the past few months is furry tails and collars, most of them faux fur, some of them antiques bought at used clothing stores and flea markets. The trend seems to stretch over a wide variety of styles and is seen on both women and men. With the weather getting a bit colder in Tokyo and Osaka (nothing serious yet, though) we expect to see more of these furry things.

I’ve seen tails being sold on (only) a few occasions in America recently too but I only know one person who owns one.

I almost bought one for myself and I’m thinking now that maybe I should have ; D

I have a couple, and I love them! I wore them as accessories on my backpack last time I was in Tokyo! You can get them fairly cheap on ebay!

The fox tail trend spread faster than any other trend I’ve ever seen, even in Montreal it’s quite easy to find them. Personally, I never liked the trend and am only becoming sicker of it by the day.

YAY! I went to Tokyo and bought myself a tail after seeing them on some purses. I love them. I got a big skunk tail and I have it on my purse. I live in the burbs and Chicago and a lot of people comment on it. Everyone thinks it’s real. I got it for 10 bucks at a street stand in Harajuku.

I also snagged a school girl neck bow and I love it. I get a lot of compliments on both.

I’m a huge fan of anything with funk though, which is definitely why.

@Tessa: I really like them, too. They are very playful.

i wanna be a vet when I grow up and people apparently use animals’ fur for their own personal intentions like to earn money from the people who would like to wear animal fur.I would be against that in every way.
