Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Don’t like the t shirt, mind. ;) But other than that, a very cute outfit! She looks at home in it.

Seems like we have a mini-trend going on with the crazy leggings… I like it! And those earrings are superb! Love her layering techniques, you can’t tell that they’re shorts, looks like another skirt. Very cool.

@Mel: That is actually not a t-shirt, but the top part of a dress. It fooled me, too.

@petitesam: Yes, those leggings are quite popular. If I shot only leggings, instead of focusing on the whole look, I could shoot non-stop all day.

I love the American style t-shirt mixed with the European style hat mixed with an all around Japanese look. She’s great!

@Lactose Intoler-Art: That is not a t-shirt, that is the top of her dress…

She needs a better cameraman! Hate it when ppl take pictures of girls from slightly above angle, ‘cause it makes their legs shorter & heads bigger.
