Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection of Japanese fashion brand Theatre Products on March 26, 2010, during the Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo.
Theatre Products on the streetThis fashion show was staged in the Mitsukoshi Theater in Nihonbashi, a very appropriate place for a brand named Theatre Products! The models first paraded on stage, then proceeded to walk into the theater itself. The photographers were located on stage as well, making us part of the tableau. I would have loved to see what that looked like…
Incidentally, this is one of two shows that I didn’t manage to upload in March. Kind of a bonus to see it in May!
Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.
