I like this dude’s style. Beautiful photography and fantastic detail shots, too. Nice!

Thanks, Theo. I think Marie will be very happy with your nice comments.

Thank you, Theo. He really was a good model especially because he’s working as an actor and a model. He also told me that he was kinda influenced by Michael Jackson! By the way, I had a good look at your website, but are you from Toronto? I’ve been there for a one month-stay before;) It’s a VERY cozy place, isn’t it? The logo of “Roots” makes me wanna go visit there again so bad!! Anyway, I loved your neat website and pictures at all!

Funny, I did think of Michael Jackson when I first saw the military-style jacket. Marie, you should come back to Toronto. I’ll treat you to a real Canadian breakfast – beer and pancakes! You too, Kjeld. :) Toronto is a cool place, but I can’t wait to go back to Tokyo!

Beer and pancakes? Whoah! I visited Toronto in 2000, but never got into the city, I am afraid… I stayed in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for three weeks or so. Beautiful area.

I would ask him if he wanted to start a band with me,.

Richelle

@Richelle: It is funny you say that; he reminded me of a Japanese musician.

is it right that such jackets have been in fashion after MJ’s death? coz i can find in many shops and it is kinda annoying..i think u cant be “cool” with such piece, because everybody must notice it and everybody thinks: ah, again that jacket.. /sure, is not only MJ-jackets/
i only like his boots and bag! stylish!

@ojisanbaka: Yes, a lot of people have been wearing them since MJ’s death. Emi commented on that a few weeks ago on one of her photos. Unfortunately comments are not included in the search, so I couldn’t find her comment anymore. It happens to fit well, though, with the trend of wearing uniform hats, a trend that has nothing to do with MJ.

Where in the US are you located, Shinu? Is it that tough to wear stuff like this?

Kjeld Duits

Love, love, LOVE it. Forget the Michael Jackson. Military-inspired (especially authentic vintage! Wow, a Texas High School?? ) is always cool in my book. :D And that smile! You almost want to give him a hug. ^^

@kagitsune: You are absolutely right, his smile is a winner.

I like this one so much. This has enthusiasm written all over this pic. I like how the jacket is used. Interesting choice.

I love Sandy’s comments so much, I have to translate at least one of them into English!

my hero, my knight, you’re back, your smile is enough …

@sandy: Vos commentaires poétiques sont étonnants. Ils provoquent des images romantiques dans mon esprit. Je vous remercie! Avez-vous un blog?

Whoa, I like this style except the boats, i just couldn’t like them :( other than boats this style looks so cool, also his hair looks so good.
This style reminds me Yngwie J. Malmsteen’s style (example: “You don’t remember, I’ll never forget” music video)
I also want to see people like him at here. But if there’s someone thinks, they could wear something like this and go to street.. well, they would be welcomed like an “alien” :(

Bilgen
May 4, 2010 (5077 days ago)

@Bilgen: Especially after the death of Michael Jackson this kind of fashion become more popular, so you see this on the streets of Japan without people thinking you’re alien. I think you live in Sweden? Is it difficult in Sweden when you stand out?

I had to comment this. I’m so shocked. I go to the high school of the old marching band jacket he is wearing. And I’m in band. Wow.

Kelsey

@Kelsey: No kidding? That would be quite a surprise, to see your band’s uniform end up as a fashion item in Japan.

This jacket motive is Hungarian folk … interesting

@Eszty: Cool, eh! In Japanese street fashion you can see fashion influences from all over the world. Hirari Ikeda last year wore a kimono made of Brazilian chita fabric.
