Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

Simply clever. I like this look with a simple, long, plain dress. The accessoires can get all the focus with this, and hers are great put together.
Just wondering where she got that commercial bag from germany and if she knows what it says? Because it’s apparently just from some civil service. But oh well, I heard japanese like the german language, so I guess it doesn’t matter what it says, as long as it sounds nice and exotic . still funny though :D

@Dörrie Banana: Shiori probably got the bag from a used clothing store.

Still leaves the question how it got rom Germany to Japan? I’d really like to investigate that!

@Dörrie Banana: Japanese buyers travel worldwide to purchase used clothing. I’d imagine they bought a pile of left-over bags.
