Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

I like this outfit, with so many different fabrics <3 That bag is really cool, I love Theatre Products’ details ^^
I thought that skirt were shorts xD Those shoes are so pretty! Maybe the spelling is Castañer…

What neat shoes!!! I love the lacing. And she has such an interesting face- looks like she could be super mischievous if she chose…

@Maria: Yes, it is Castañer. I actually know that brand… Still couldn’t figure out the spelling. [embarrassed look] Fixed it; thank you very much.
@Alexandra: I think you might be right! LOL

Wow! She is super cute! I love her style, and especially the mixture of textures and fabrics, yet still very tasteful and sharp.

@Lactose Intoler-Art: Tasteful is definitely the operative word. I love how Hitomi has implemented the Theatre Products pieces.

I agree! I love her coordination…And I just noticed it said she is a designer. Did she happen to mention what kind or provide a site? Her taste level seems great! (Judging by her style at least)

@Lactose Intoler-Art: I don’t have a site for Hitomi, apparently she doesn’t even have a twitter account. I think that she told me it was fashion design, but I may have remembered incorrectly…
