Love it! I’m not crazy about the shoes, though, and i believe it’ll all work better with some other less sporty footwear… but the overall looks are splendid!

@Juan: I agree. Although these were probably a lot more comfortable for all the walking that Naoko had to do that day. ^ _ –

I think that this look is kinda awesome! For one, I love the necklace. I’ve been wanting a big, bold necklace like this. But when my mom gives me shopping money, it’s never a priority to buy accessories. Plus, I can never find a necklace like this at Forever 21. Anyway. Back to the necklace. I absolutely adore it! And I get the feeling that because of the style and the color of the necklace, you could wear it with casual outfits AND a nice dress. And I absolutely adore the earrings! I like whenever you have a super neutral color, and then you add a splash of color, such as RED to it. Even though it’s small, it’s still very cool!
And I love her short hair!
Why is it that most of the girls I see here (or at least as of late) have short hair? I’m curious! I have short hair too; I just got a pixie cut in August.
And I also notice how she isn’t over accessorized, which is good! I guess it’s the younger generation that tends to go hog-wild with zillions of rings, bracelets, etc.?

I love this outfit! Check out (Spring, Smart, Cutie, Men’s Non-Non) that I’m selling. I got them from Japan but have to get rid of them-
Get it before it’s gone! It’s great for pictures like those above and Harajuku-esque inspiration fashion spreads!

@Etsune: Totally agree about the necklace.

By the way, next time you get some shopping money, there are some really cool necklaces for sale on eBay. I created a special search for necklaces using strips in one way or another in our eBay associate store.

@Kjeld: Thanks for the suggestion! I saw the search already. I think it’s very useful. However, since my mom owns a debit card and not a credit card, she doesn’t generally like purchasing things online because it’s not as secure. So I’d have to find it in a store….

@Etsune: eBay uses PayPal, which means that you can even transfer money from your bank account to fund purchases. It doesn’t have to be a credit card. And because eBay stands between you and the vendor your personal data is secure.

I actually got the idea for the search after I saw you discussing where to get clothes that you had seen on JS. It is a lot of extra work, but a great service for JS readers. And eBay pays us a small percentage of each purchase, so it helps to keep JS online.

I like the shoes, they’re cool. :3

I love the body fitting apparel under the asymmetrical dress. It’s projects a really clean, yet futuristic look. I think the “futuristic” vibe comes from the shoes, yet if she had different shoes, it’d be a different feel. In essence, the outfit is quite brilliant because depending on foot wear, she could go casual or dressy.

@Kjeld: Wow, I never knew that! I think I’ll look more into that! That way I can use whatever money my mom gives me to buy things! Thanks for the info!

And thank you! I feel honored and pleased that you did it cause of our discussions! It’s very helpful; thanks!
Is that what the new “suggested items for this style” thing is?

Nov 30, 2010 (4233 days ago)

@Etsune: Yes, you can fund your PayPal account from your bank account. But you need to have a debit card (bank card) for your bank account. There is a simple explanation here stating that you can use a debit card.

Yes, the links under Suggested Items for this Style take you to search page that contain items similar to the style worn by the person on the page. Naturally, you still need to browse through the pages to dig out appropriate items. But half of the fun is in the search, right!

@Kjeld: Ahh….I still don’t think my mom will do it though. It will take some convincing sigh
And thanks, I’ve browsed through some of the searches just to see what they have!

@Etsune: You’re welcome and good luck. Incidentally, I have been buying on eBay every month for many years now, and have had no real problems yet. But your mom is right, it is always better to err on the safe side.

@Kjeld: Yeah, I suppose she is right. I don’t want anything bad to happen, so I’m fine with it…It just means that I have to buy stuff only in stores….

Dec 2, 2010 (4231 days ago)

@Etsune: Yes, or perhaps a friend can help you out sometimes and do the buying for you.

@Kjeld: That’s very true. I’ve thought of that, but I don’t know who would do that for me. Thank you!
