Kjeld Duits About the Photographer

Inspired by the stunningly creative street fashion that exploded on the streets of Tokyo and Osaka in the late 1990’s, photo-journalist Kjeld Duits launched JAPANESE STREETS in 2002. This makes JS one of the first fashion blogs on the net, and the very first to cover Japanese street fashion.

<3 the bow, pearls & locket, and those embellishments on her sleeves! Only thing I don’t like are the frilly socks, which seem to be really popular lately.

Those boots are made for walkin’ and that’s exactly what she’s done… Nice combo that’s simple and hangs together.

Thanks. This is one of those times where the individual items are pretty good, but it is really how they’re put together that makes it great. I love Aya’s look here.

@MagenTAY: I think you’ll be seeing these socks a lot more over the next few months.

Oh, she is so pretty, she could easily be up on stage with all the beauties from SNSD, MissA etc. And the boots really make the outfit for me. I love comfy shoes that are in contrast to everything else.

OH MY GOD.
I am SO jealous of not only this outfit, but how cute she is!
Arrrrgh. Not fair.
Anyways. I’ve ALWAYS loved red and blue together, so I’m REALLY loving this. This is an outfit I think I’d definitely wear!
