María: @Julia & @KD: I had noticed that too, the only conclusion I got was that it is the Chupa Chups vers for Japan since Kappa is a fun and accepted character for children. They adapted the name to their market. Just like Rexona became Rexena in Japan….
Kjeld Duits: @Julia: When you do a search for it you get lots of children’s clothing and Thai sites, so it looks like the Cappa Champs logo might be a rip-off of Chupa Chups.
Julia: Are ‘Cappa Champs’ (on his bag) the japanese version of Chupa Chups? The logo is similar.

nanamisan.momozono: ancient. kento suru.
Kjeld Duits: @Weronika: The colors at first look crazy and random, and it seems there are so many of them. But when I put up the color patches I noticed that the clothes are actually very carefully color coordinated. The same colors pretty much return on each item. I can’t imagine out how they manage to do that with so many colors on a single item, and each item bought separately at different shops.
Weronika: those boots are to die for! I’d love to have such a pair. I really enjoy this look (and similiar other two posted one by one). So many colors and crazy details are making me smile and be positive even when I’m sad.

Kjeld Duits: @Marko Cabaniuk: Yes, Moeko recently moved to the UK. We miss her!
Marko Cabaniuk: Splash of color! :) I recognized her as she was at this years Hyper Japan alongside other models and Tiffany Godoy and other fashion experts who usually work for H&M in Japan! Great to see her here in London, UK!

Animeche: Looks like a Decora Girl (but I see it’s not). Really cool x3
Eilzabeth B: I love all of the colors and the 80s vibe. Great look!
PINKY: Thank you for your fast answer but this can’t be Decora, as I’m wearing that myself and know already a lot about it. And if it is, it must be some sort of sub-style. And that is what I’d like to find out, how it is called ♪ But thank you for your help anyway ♥

ojisanbaka: thanks for info! ^^
Kjeld Duits: Many people switch between styles; in such cases wigs are quite handy. Most of the street fashion we follow are worn by small groups of people, often called tribes in Japan, so it’s hard to say whether something is “in fashion,” because so many trends play out all at the same time. I run into far fewer people wearing decora than say 8 years ago, so I think it is now mostly worn by people who really love this style, not by people who are just hanging on.
