Kjeld Duits: @Kathy: Thank you for remembering!
Kathy: I totally love those shoes! And I remembered them from your last photos of her.
Kjeld Duits: @baby_blue & Maria: Your compliments should make Mizuki quite happy. She doesn’t consider herself cool at all and couldn’t understand why I shot her once, let alone twice.

John: Oh, my, goodness! Wow, she’s adorably cute! I saw a wide variety of styles while I was in Shitamachi last summer, but sadly I didn’t get to visit Harajuku. There were a ton of nice clothing stores, though. It’s easy to lose track of time just going through floor after floor of shopping centers.
Stylish Mr Gordon: What is there not to love with this fantastic image? The girl is so cute and this is further enhanced by the Mickey Mouse T-Shirt and bright orange nail varnish. I love the boots and the socks. She has added lots of contrasting pieces together and struck gold. Well done to her.
Kjeld Duits: @Robyn: Thank you, Robyn. I am attracted by the creativity, originality and exuberance of this fashion. It shows lots of energy and joie de vivre. My choices are very subjective, but presence and self-awareness play major roles. There are always a whole range of looks that you see in the streets of Japan, and they differ enormously per locale, even in Tokyo itself. Harajuku fashion is completely different from the fashion in Shibuya, Aoyama or Ginza to name just a few well-known fashion districts. We focus mainly on Harajuku and the photos you see on JS give a good representation of some of the best looks available in this area.
